Lindsay Lohan has revealed something that isn't her flesh. She's gone a little deeper this time... She's opened up about her recent troubles. She told Paper magazine: "I am what I am. "They either want to take a chance or they don't, is how I see it. "I had a lot going on in my life and that was a way of hiding from it. "I hadn't seen my dad; I had a lot of work stress because I was constantly working and never took time to stop." "Everything was go-go-go, and the easiest thing was to run away from it, going out and drinking at night. "You know, you don't have to think when you let go sometimes." She added: "But I didn't realise it was getting in the way of my work - what I've worked for my whole life." That changed, as Linds explained: "There's not really much else to do when you're sitting in a treatment center.
Violent woman-hater Levi Bellfield is main Milly Dowler murder suspect
The man convicted yesterday of murdering two women and trying to kill a third was left free to continue his campaign of violence against women because of basic investigative errors by police. Levi Bellfield was found guilty at the Old Bailey of murdering Marsha McDonnell, 19, and Amelie Delagrange, 22, and attempting to murder Kate Sheedy. He was then identified as the prime suspect for the unsolved murder of the schoolgirl Milly Dowler. A Scotland Yard task force has been set up to investigate Bellfield’s possible connection to a series of 20 murders, attempted murders and other attacks dating back 25 years. Detective Chief Inspector Colin Sutton said that Bellfield was a dangerous man and that women would be safer now that he was behind bars.
Celtics make statement with defense against Cavs
When the new-look Cavaliers visited the Celtics Wednesday night, the stage was set for one of those statement games. Plenty of statements were made, too, for both teams. The Celtics' defense makes the difference. The Celtics' lead over the Pistons was down to two before Wednesday's game and they have been losing ground to Detroit in the defensive rankings. The Pistons have taken over No. 1 in points allowed but the Celtics remain the leader in field-goal percentage allowed. They were in fine form Wednesday, limiting the Cavaliers to 38.3 percent shooting in the 92-87 victory. The key was holding down the Cavaliers' big guns, LeBron James (7 for 24) and sixth man Wally Szczerbiak (3 for 13). Don't call Ben Wallace over the hill yet. He's telling reporters that the system in Chicago didn't fit his strengths, and playing power forward for the Cavaliers will allow him to do a little more roaming and helping teammates on defense.
Ray Harryhausen's monster gift to film
Most of his films are filled with stars you've never heard of, and at the time they didn't win awards. But in the Bay Area, the unofficial capital of the special effects industry, Harryhausen is still the most recognizable name in the business. He's treated like a rock star when he flies into town - during his most recent appearance, last Wednesday at the Smith Rafael Film Center in San Rafael, Harryhausen received his first standing ovation of the evening before he even reached the stage. "I had no idea at the time that my films would be remembered like this," Harryhausen says during a phone interview late last week. He was scheduled to speak with The Chronicle after the show, but had to postpone when the line of autograph seekers snaked across the stage and all the way down the theater aisle.
David Cameron's fudge on faith school 'fakes'
Parents who pretend that they have Christian beliefs in order to win places in church schools are doing the best for their children, David Cameron believes. The Tory leader refuses to criticise the "middle-class parents with sharp elbows". Asked for his views on the families accused of playing the system, he says: "I think it’s good for parents who want the best for their kids. I don’t blame anyone who tries to get their children into a good school. Most people are doing so because it has an ethos and culture. I believe in active citizens." Mr Cameron will learn this year whether his own daughter has won a place at a state-funded Church of England school in Kensington, West London. This month The Times reported a surge in late baptisms into the Catholic Church, further evidence that some parents may be finding religion at a convenient moment in their children’s education.

Do you people even watch the games? We held a team averaging 75 a game to 51 AT THEIR PLACE. I realize this is all going to fall on deaf/ignorant ears, but I at least want to inform some of the people who don't watch the games how idiotic some of this stuff is getting. .
Europe Gets First Dibs On Honda CR-Z Hybrid Hatchback
The Honda CRX was an incredibly popular little hatchback, because while it had a diminutive footprint, it was a blast to drive and it was easy on gas. Yes, it was basically a Civic hatchback, but for whatever reason, it was just so much cooler. It's still a fun car to drive today, if you can find one in good condition. The Honda CR-Z hybrid is the highly anticipated spiritual successor to the CRX, but unlike its predecessor, this car is going to cost a little more and it's gonna be even greener. We've seen the Honda CR-Z hybrid at a few car shows already, but Honda has been hesitant to release any sort of launch information. Well, it turns out that the production version of the CR-Z will not be launching initially in Japan or the United States. Instead, the first proving ground will be Europe.

Kapag sinabing People Power, paglabas at pagmartsa sa kalye ang nasa isipan ng mga tao kaya't marami ang nagtatanong kung ano ang ibig sabihin ng CBCP sa kakaibang uri ng People Power na ipinapanawagan nila ngayon. Sa kanilang Web site, sinabi ng CBCP ang mga paraan tungo sa tinawag nilang communal action: mga diskusyong pampubliko, sama-samang pagdarasal, pagninilay at pagdedesisyon sa kung anong aksyon ang dapat gawin kaugnay ng mga eskandalong ikinakaharap ng administrasyon.
