Latin Women Dating Dating Tips For Men
To find a partner, scratch and sniff

Sniffing someone's armpits does not sound the most promising start to a date. Research, however, suggests that it will probably turn up a better prospect than either a blind date or gabbling nervously to 20 consecutive strangers. Now a new dating website, ScientificMatch.com, promises a discreet way of letting you nose out potential partners.

Researchers found more than a decade ago - by asking female students to sniff T-shirts worn by men - that ovulating women rate certain male body odours as sexier than others. Crucially, the preferences depended on a certain part of the immune system called the major histocompatibility complex (MHC). Women, it turned out, were bewitched by the odours of men whose MHC genes were most different from their own, and repelled by the aroma of men with similar MHC genes.

Rediscover the Jewel on the Nile

Oh, I love Earth, Wind and Fire, and especially Stevie Wonder. That music is just brilliant, but classical music is still my first love and what I am most passionate about.”

Also on Lloyd’s CV are a pair of film soundtracks, Avant l’oubli and Vipeère, both Zephyr Film productions. Then there is the orchestral work on several home video game soundtracks, most notably the popular Headhunter game by Sega.

When I ask Lloyd if he has had the opportunity to get away and experience what lies beyond the Opera House’s grounds, his head droops a little as he sighs, “There are always problems, daily problems, that need to be fixed, so I find that getting back to my hotel room is needed and going anywhere else after that is not so needed. I would like to spend a little bit of time at the Red Sea because it just looks wonderful.

eBay chief executive set to retire

Ten percent fewer customers visited eBay.com last month than in December 2006, the tracking company Nielsen Online said.

Though eBay has tried to get its most loyal customers to buy more, the overall decline in traffic has depressed business.

Gross merchandise volume -- the total amount of all goods and services sold on eBay.com -- has been growing at a slower pace over the last few years than e-commerce in general, which means that eBay is losing market share, particularly to Amazon.

The expected change of chief executives was first reported by the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday.

Whitman's plans have not been disclosed, but she has been a contributor and fund-raiser for Mitt Romney, a Republican presidential contender. Like Whitman, Romney is a Bain alumnus.

Wall Street analysts and eBay observers have been preparing for Whitman's departure for some time, particularly as eBay's stock price has sagged.

Pink iPod nano debuts for spring, Valentine's, pink lovers

I have a tale to tell my friends (that's you guys) here at Infinite Loop. I received a text message from a friend of mine who works at a retail outlet last night (not an Apple Store), asking me if there was a new Apple announcement yesterday. I wrote back and said "no, why?" He proceeded to tell me that his store just got a shipment of pink iPod nanos. I went to the iPod nano page on Apple's site to check out the color lineup and saw the reddish/magenta color, and assumed that's what he was referring to. I moved on with my life.

This morning, Apple announced a new, truly pink iPod nano. D'oh! Good job losing that scoop, Jacqui. Happy Birthday to me.

Moving along, the "gorgeous" pink iPod nano, as Apple refers to it, is available immediately in 8GB for $199.

Soldiers do battle with leeks

Soldiers from 2nd Battalion The Royal Welsh competed today in their annual St David's Day leek eating competition.

According to tradition, the 600 soldiers were woken with "gunfire" - tea laced with rum - served by senior ranks and officers.

And in keeping with regimental custom, the youngest soldiers from each company later took part in a leek-eating competition before drinking a toast to A Dewi Sant.

Can You Say, “Legacy”?

Syria has so far threatened not to attend unless its concerns regarding the Golan Heights are included in the agenda — a prospect which so far seems unlikely.

As a key negotiator in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Egypt is indispensable to the process and to winning Arab support during this preparatory phase. After meeting with leaders including President Hosni Mubarak, Foreign Minister Abul Gheit, Head of Intelligence Omar Suleiman, as well as Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa, Rice received what amounts to a cautiously generous endorsement from both Egypt and the Arab League.

Only a week before meeting with Rice, Moussa had likened the conference to an American solicitation for a “photo op.” Abul Gheit, who only a day before had suggested the summit be postponed, said the meetings with Rice had shed light on US intentions for the conference, about which he had renewed “faith” and “confidence.” Rice’s Cairo talks set the tone for meetings with Israelis and Palestinians in Jerusalem and the West Bank towns of Bethlehem and Ramallah, as well as with Jordan’s King Abdullah in London.

Protest at Miami high school turns rowdy

A couple of hundred" students were involved in the protest, which began during lunch hour in an open patio next to the cafeteria, said Quintin Taylor, a spokesman for the Miami-Dade School Board.

Minor injuries were reported among police and students, and video from the scene showed several students being led away as if under arrest.

Students told CNN affiliate WSVN they were angry the principal put a student in a "choke hold" Thursday.

Taylor said officials are investigating how the protest, which started peacefully, became unruly.

"Our officers assigned to the school became a target at the school of objects being thrown at them ... books, soda pop, water bottles, milk cartons," Miami-Dade Schools Commander Charles Hurley told WSVN.

Lebanon vote delayed again

Lebanon's parliament failed on Friday to grasp its last chance to elect a head of state before pro-Syrian President Emile Lahoud leaves office at midnight, opening a vacuum that many fear could lead to violence.

Parliamentary Speaker Nabih Berri, a Shiite opposition leader, delayed the election for a fifth time because rival factions were deadlocked. He set a new session for Nov. 30.

"To allow for more consultations to arrive at the election of a president...the session is postponed to Friday, Nov. 30," Berri said in a statement.

The delay means the presidency, always held by a Maronite Christian under Lebanon's sectarian power-sharing system, will be vacant for at least a week. Unless a consensus candidate emerges soon, the country could end up saddled with competing administrations as at the end of its 1975-1990 civil war.

Greater Mohali master plan a ‘disappointment’

Much to the disappointment of bureaucrats and politicians in the state who have bought land in Chandigarhs periphery, the company preparing master plan of Greater Mohali has planned the area as green belt.

Almost in tune with what the creators of Chandigarh envisaged, Jurong Consultants, the Singapore-based company, has affirmed that forest area in Greater Mohali should be respected and suggested waterways in the area be greened to prevent soil erosion.

The company representatives recently released the vision document for the Greater Mohali region for discussion. This area includes the Chandigarhs periphery and SAS Nagar district extending from Kharar to Lalru.

The Shivalik hills belt is protected under the provisions of the Forest Conservation Act, 1980, and the Punjab Land Preservation Act, 1900.
